Friends Don't Let Friends Sin

James 5:20 ...whoever brings back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins

We, as Christ followers will more often than not find ourselves at odds with the world's morality. We cannot expect the lost to act according to God's Word as they either do not know it, or refuse to obey it.

But there will be times when those who are acting contrary to the Word are not lost sinners, but our own friends and fellow Christ followers. When this is the case, action is necessary. It is not okay for us as the adopted children of God to allow our brothers and sisters to live in sin. The draw of the world is strong and we, the Church, the Body of Christ, must be even stronger.

Our friends who choose sin over their Heavenly Father need our intercessory prayers and they need to hear from us on the matter. It's never our job to force anyone to do anything, but it is our duty to lovingly bring them back to their walk with the Lord.
